Volunteers
Be a part of the rich tradition and join the volunteer team that makes Washington D.C. region’s premier cycling event the place where champions come to complete! Volunteers are needed for various positions the weekend of June 3-5. Help hand out packets, assist at a hydration station, get playful during the kid's ride, or celebrate the finishers by presenting their medals. Volunteer sign-up is now open, and there's a shift and position suited for everyone's schedule.
The Armed Forces Cycling Classic is grateful to all our volunteers who helped make this event possible since its inaugural year, 1998! From course marshals to registration support, we have been fortunate to have scores of individuals come out and help lend a hand. Volunteers are the heart of any endurance event, helping set the tone of excitement for the day's race. Thank you, volunteers. We couldn't do this without your dedication.
Secure your volunteer position now to guarantee you don't miss out on the speed, action, and inspiration! All volunteers receive a 2022 event shirt, snacks, and refreshments. Thank you to Colony Gill for providing pizza to Sunday's volunteers.
